Making Treats for my Babies

The boys informed me they were out of their special treats. You ask how can dogs tell you that. Well they look pitiful with their heads hanging to the ground or barking madly at me. So I made peanut butter cookies for them today. Enjoy the pictures and make your special babies some treats. They are very easy and Bjorn and Blackbeard love them.

The Seeds Have Sprouted

We planted lots of things for our garden this year including tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, bell peppers, lettuce, and cucumbers. We still have other things to plant directly in the garden including green beans.

We tilled about 900 square feet for the main garden and 16 feet by 5 feet for just cucumbers. Another section the same size, this section will be used for growing lettuce and onions.

We also tilled up about 40 feet by 5 feet for flowers that I will sell at the Farmer's Market.

Enjoy the pics and get out and support local farmers by attending a Farmer's Market in your area.

Northside Farmers Market

The Northside farmer's market found a place for us for the winter. We are located at the North Presbyterian Church auditorium from 4-7:30 on Wednesdays. The church has been so wonderful to offer a place to sell our artisan goods along with fresh eggs, pork, honey, apples, jams, herbs and amazing coffee. Please come check us out we will be a that location until May then back to Hoffner park on Hamilton Avenue. Support local artisans and farmers and visit us at the market.
